I had this great stuff written last night, but then the browser blew up and that was the end of that. In short: Christmas parade with the cub scouts, lots of stuff in the kitchen and the temperature here is in record-high territory. At a result of the threads here and here, I’m reading The Winter’s Tale. More soon, I reckon. I think that quote above is in the preface to our edition of Tom Sawyer.

If it’s not, it ought to be.
