A poem. A joke.

August 22, 2007

Bluebell has written a poem and a joke, both of which appear below.

The Mess

Baby’s crying,
Sister’s singing,
dog is dying,
doorbell ringing

Toilet’s flushing
Rooster’s crowing
Mama’s hushing
Patience lowering

Toast is burning
Sun is blazing
Cat is hissing
Temperature’s rising
dog is dead.

The joke goes like this. I apologize in advance.

Q. What is a folk dancer’s favorite thing to do in the bathroom?
A. Clog the toilet

Thank you! We’ll be here all week!
